Why Millions Of People Walk With Stabbing Foot Pain - And A Surprising New Solution

John started having stabbing foot pain about 10 years ago.

Unfortunately, it was more than your typical occasional foot pain.

He shared his journey:

“What I did to ensure that I could make it to work every day was loosen my shoes, wrap my foot in an athletic wrap, and limp from the parking lot to my work.

By limp, I mean keep most of the weight on my right foot (which felt fine already) and only put pressure on the ball of my left foot.

So I walked with my left heel raised for a couple months.

This felt and looked ridiculous and I knew it, but I also didn’t want to go to the doctor.

I already knew what they would give me and have me do. I wasn’t really interested in their protocol.

Sometime after several weeks had gone by, I had done so much reading about my symptoms and just wanted to be able to give it a name at the very least. It wasn’t close enough to achilles tendonitis initially, so I settled that it was either posterior tibial tendonitis or plantar fasciitis.

The reason being is that I not only had sharp heel pain, but also chronic pain coursing over the top of my foot where it meets the ankle and running from the inside of my foot, up through the inside of the ankle and into the lower calf.

I remember for a few days, I was in enough pain that I just didn’t want to walk on that foot at all so I pulled out my old crutches from when I broke my foot previously and used those to get me to work and back. I even experimented with keeping my foot in the old walking boot I got from that injury.

Neither of these ideas were helping and I was getting impatient. I love trying to figure stuff out for myself, usually online, but I couldn’t find anything worthwhile at this point.

I eventually realized that most of the advice online is complete junk.

I had tried the RICE method initially, some light stretching, and many more. I even tried some ridiculous “toe touch” and “foot crunch” exercises at my house and at the gym which lead to no further improvement whatsoever.

It actually makes me very annoyed that people who don’t have anything insightful to say about a serious subject like this still post very vague, generalized advice online. Most of these people obviously don’t know the first thing about these problems because almost everything that is recommended DOES NOT WORK.

My wife and sister finally pressured me enough to go see a foot specialist.

I reluctantly went with my wife to see the doctor and I just have to say, it was exactly what I thought it would be. I didn’t feel like I was taken seriously and I just got the standard protocol read to me.

The X-ray showed that there was no damage done to the bone, I was told to stop everything I was doing and “rest”, and I left the place frustrated and immobilized by a brand new walking boot (probably much different than the last one, right?). The doctor also had physical therapy planned for me even before he understood what exactly was wrong with my foot.

When I asked him repeatedly for his specific opinion about my foot and why he was recommending the things he was, he remained incredibly vague. This made me feel much less confident in his ability to help me. He expected me to visit him every week or two, another thing I couldn’t understand, but I went back for a second visit anyway.

This time, I pressed him harder for things I could do to exercise and ways to treat myself faster.

He advised me to buy custom orthotics to wear inside of my walking boot.

After realising these cost a fortune!! I was on the hunt for affordable over the counter insoles that relieve my pain as good as the custom ones. Some high quality and well-priced insoles.

After a lot of trial and error I finally found orthotics that relieve my foot pain.

The orthotics are called CushiFix and to be fair, they are very good. They served a purpose in supporting my foot and ankle when they were weak so I could be in less pain. As someone who was in pain every day, I am thankful to have had these.

Around this point, my right hip and right leg were starting to get bothered by the all the extra weight I was putting on that side along with the extra height of the walking boot on my left side. So I decided to ditch the walking boot after probably only a couple weeks of wearing it, and put CushiFix into my casual shoes. Some of my swelling had gone down by now which is what allowed me to do this. Wearing the insoles was like wrapping my feet in a warm, cozy embrace, taking away all the discomfort and pain.

The deep heel notch ensures that the heel is cradled and supported, reducing strain on the plantar fascia and reducing pain.

Side Note: I felt confident ditching the walking boot despite the doctor’s orders because I have worn them before for previous injuries and the thing is, they simply don’t work. They are not an effective way of treating soft tissue damage. This is why I continued looking for other treatment options.

The insoles did ease the pain, which I now know is because they held my foot in a good position.

I started wearing the insoles in all of my shoes and felt like I didn’t take them out for a few months. The firm, well-structured arch support and heel cup were very helpful in getting my foot to sit in the correct position so I wouldn’t feel much pain.

The heel cup was outstanding and more comfortable than any of the other insoles I tested before.

The heel cup of CushiFix is like a warm, comforting hug for my feet. Its sturdy and secure design fits snugly and provides a stable base for each step I take. The deep heel notch ensures that my heel is cradled and supported, reducing strain on the plantar fascia and reducing pain.

When I walk, the heel cup moves with my foot, adapting to my movements and providing consistent support. The snug fit of the heel cup means that I don’t have to worry about it slipping or sliding inside my shoes, allowing me to walk with confidence.

I've tried just about every insole on the market for relief from plantar fasciitis pain which has plagued me for most of the year. Despite frequent stretching and icing, and seeing the doc, it would not let up. Until I bought this insole, nothing helped. I was desperate for some relief, and the insole was as described, high quality and lived up to the expectations.

After using these for a week, I realized how much better I could walk. Within a few days, the stabbing pain literally disappeared. It has not returned. My feet are in alignment now. THANK YOU TO WHOEVER DESIGNED and MANUFACTURED THIS INSOLE and MADE IT AVAILABLE TO ME!!! YOU'LL NEVER KNOW HOW GRATEFUL I AM.

I have a rare disease that causes severe joint damage and as a result, I have a lot of foot and knee problems. These insoles support my arch in any position I walk in. I also appreciate that they don't have a strange chemical smell like foam insoles tend to have at first.

I felt obligated to write a review on cushifix insoles. Used them for the first time last month and I couldn't believe how I was able to walk. I purchased over 5 different insole brands and non relieved my pain. It was horrible until these arrived. I know not to trust just any company on the internet, but a colleague recommended CushiFix to me. I was blown away when I put these in my shoes and felt a huge difference right away. My heel snug right in the cup and it felt cozy and secure. I was so happy and wanted to share it with you guys. I had cortisone injections into my feet before and these insoles simply work as described. Trust me people you don't want to miss this one !! Looking to get more for all of my shoes one for my mother!

After John's story, I wondered if CushiFix insoles could help me, too.

I've been a reporter for 27 years, which sounds more exciting than it is. Almost three decades of being on call all hours of the night to cover breaking stories are exciting, but it really does a number on my feet.

On top of that, I've been suffering from knee and back pain for the last few years, which I cope with by taking a copious amount of anti-inflammatories.

Because of my personal situation, John's story resonated with me.

I decided I needed to look into the CushiFix for myself.

Once I saw the overwhelming number of positive reviews CushiFix was getting, I thought it was worth a try. I got on the official website and ordered 2 pairs of them when they came back in stock, one for me and one for my husband.

It never hurts to have a second opinion, after all.

...Here's What I Found.

CushiFix insoles arrived at my door. Right out of the box I knew I had made the right decision.

The insoles make a great first impression.

They're firm but flexible. Soft, but durable. I could tell it was higher quality than I was used to, even more so than the name-brand ones I've purchased in the past.

I'm on my feet all day, and my husband is too, so I figured we'd put CushiFix through a pretty rigorous test over the next few days.

The insoles were comfortable and cushioned but offered a lot more stability than I expected. That first day, I was so comfortable as I walked for hours, that I didn't really think a whole lot about it. When I woke up the next morning, I noticed a difference immediately. Usually I have sharp pain in my feet when I step out of bed.

At first I wasn't sure if I noticed a real difference or if it was all just in my head.

After the first week, I knew it was real. I was walking almost pain free (the pain was not 100% gone but at a very manageable level).

...and the craziest thing, I more than tripled my daily mileage and I could be more active again. Which also resulted in loosing a few pounds :-)

Usually, I was wiped out after work and had to rest my feet on the couch. Something about the way CushiFix is cushioning and aligning my feet seemed to help a lot.

Before and After:

cushifix-plantar-fasciitis-insoles-8Daily mileage went up from 2873 steps to 10.331 😱

On the fifth morning of using CushiFix, my husband actually told me he hadn't felt that energized in years.

I believed him because my feet weren't sore as before, and I could feel the pain in my feet starting to fade. It was crazy because I was still working in my fast-paced journalism job.

That was enough for me. I got back on the website and ordered a few more insoles because I wanted everyone in my family to have them.

UPDATE: 6 months with CushiFix, and I'm still walking GREAT!

When you know something works, you come to rely on it, and I have definitely come to expect to walk comfortably and with no knee and back pain. This is something I would have thought was impossible just 6 months ago, but I live it every blissful night now!

My 73-year-old father thought the CushiFix insoles I gave to him and my mother were hokey until my mother insisted on using it. When she started going on and on about how it was helping her Plantar Fasciitis and arthritis in her knee, he decided to give it a try, too.

I got a call from him a few days later thanking me.

"I thought that CushiFix was just some gimmick you fell into, but I'll tell ya, it's really changed the way I walk."

Coming from my father, that's a resounding endorsement!

I've had a life-changing experience with CushiFix, and you can, too! If you're looking for comfortable insoles to walk with confidence and pain free, this is it. I don't ever spend a day in my life without CushiFix in my shoes!

I can't recommend it enough!

How Much Does It Cost?

It's currently on sale on their official website for just $39.90, but you can even get them for less if you get your hands on a limited bundle deal!

Is It Worth It?

Of course! I'll always be using CushiFix insoles to walk comfortably all day and if I travel. I'm glad I have these simple and effective insoles to keep my feet and knees feeling great and help me get the best out of the hours I spend on my feet.

The benefits are well worth the one-time purchase!
